Secured.com SSL - Secure data encryption with digital certificate!
This feature enables you to place pages requiring secure data transfer into your own SSL secured folder (128 Bit Encryption) with a trusted URL in the following format: https://secured.com/~yourfolder/. This URL is used by thousands of online merchants throughout the world, so it in itself carries a symbol of trust. When users access any document in a Secured.com directory, all data submitted is encrypted during transmission, and they are notified that the page being viewed is secure and cannot be seen by others. SSL secured pages can be managed with our web based ssl file manager or FTP. Each directory also includes 10MB of disk space and supports PHP4, ASP, Perl, and SSI. Scripts are configured to run from within any ssl folder. Advanced PHP features such as cURL, GD, PDFlib, mhash, and zlib are supported as well. A 100% web based OpenPGP encryption and decryption module with a unique key for each folder is included for secure e-mail. If you need to have an SSL certificate under your own domain (as opposed to Secured.com SSL), we provide one of the most trusted certificates available, the Thawte SSL 123. Thawte is one of the oldest and most trusted certification authorities which recognized by all SSL enabled browsers. Unlike most of the certificates issued by newer authorities which only work in recently released browsers, and require a root chain certificate to be installed, the Thawte SSL 123 cert is single root, works in both newer and older browsers, and is very easy to install. You must have a unique IP address enabled on your account in order to use this certificate.

Please keep in mind the primary benefit of having your own SSL Certificate is the ability to place your secured pages under your own domain, so you should consider whether or not the additional cost of $99/year is justified as opposed to using our Secured.com SSL platform. Another common reason for purchasing your own certificate is that it may be required by some shopping cart platforms.
