I am more than very pleased with the support I regularly receive from webmasters support staff, in particular THIS support person. I never receive robotic-type non-answer-trying-to-act-like answers from WM support staff. In this particular case, not only did the tech ANSWER my questions, but he directed me to 3rd party links to TRAIN me (which is not his job). He then even created sample files for me on my own site with a followup explanation of how the files worked and how they could be modified to further accomplish my specific needs. This is not support -- this is business partnership. Your support staff makes me feel like I have a couple of extra offices and employees that I don't have to pay for that are available 24/7 to make my venture more successful. I did not know that when I contracted with you as my webhost for 12 months, that my contract price included this kind of highest level technical support. Our all vounteer art league had to redo an ineffective website. As you might imagine, a high percentage of our membership is very computer iliterate. I can't sing Paul Schultz's praises loudly enough. We have migrated to the new php7 server. Our migration was complicated by the number of sites we have and by the configuration of our directories and files.

I am a full-time volunteer for our non-profit organization, providing state-wide IT support. Because of the demands that would be placed on a volunteer, my IT friends had all advised me to avoid taking on the migration. They have also predicted it would fail. However, because of Paul, I am thrilled to say that my friends were 100% wrong!

Consistently, Paul was knowledgeable, kind, patient, responsive, encouraging, and willing to teach me about server-side software as we went along. With Paul's support, the migration was completed with only a few minor issues - all of which were easily resolved.

In the current world of IT support, it is unusual for a company to provide the opportunity for a support analyst to truly own the client's support request from beginning to end. Most often, you are handed off to whoever is next up. Paul was there with us every step of the way.

Just a quick note to say thanks to John DeSantis and your other admins.

I am doing the web admin duties for a small missionary group and they (we) have been having a lot of trouble with their current hosting provider (no names needed). They told me that they have recently had days worth of email go missing, constant site instability, and I have been unable to access their ftp site now for over a week.

When they called their hosting provider to discuss these issues, they said they were put on hold for 3 (you read that right THREE) hours before they had a human appear and "help" them with their problem. Not surprisingly, the problem still exists. Emails to their host often do not receive a reply for several days, or they only get automatic responses with unhelpful advice.

In comparison, the Webmasters.com admins are always quick to respond when I send in a trouble report. I usually have whatever problem that I have noted solved in under an hour.

When I told this missionary group about how the Webmasters.com admins handle problems, they asked if I would transfer their account over to you. I'm waiting for the domain transfer to go through right now, but when it does, I will be opening up another hosting account for this group.

So thanks again to John, Curran, J. Marquand, and the others in your support group. As this other hosting provider demonstrated, anyone can host a site; just plunk a server down and load Apache in. What sets Webmasters.com apart is how you deal with clients when they are having problems that makes the difference.

I had a non-standard request to change my hosting account to another domain since I was changing my main domain name to suit my new stage. name.
Support agreed this with no quibble, no extra charge and with full guidance which steps I needed to take.

I was using the domain richardsclass.com as a gateway for my students. Because students that were not mine started using the site, I added the add-on domain SBVC.us.

Eventually I wanted to make SBVC.us the primary domain in the account. This was because forwarding was not enough, I wanted to be able to use sub-domains extensively.

I dreaded the hassle in getting this done. What I found was quite the opposite. It took only two emails, one to inquire about the possibility and one to execute it. Both emails were answered within a few minutes, and the new account for sbvc.us was created and I had the site up and running within the hour.

I teach a web development class, (beginner stuff) and have recommended your company to every class. I know of several students, and one faculty member who have created accounts with you. I will continue to recommend Webmasters.com because I have found the service to be excellent.
