I had a non-standard request to change my hosting account to another domain since I was changing my main domain name to suit my new stage. name.
Support agreed this with no quibble, no extra charge and with full guidance which steps I needed to take.
They were helpful at every step of the way.
It turned into quite a long thread (19 replies) and several support members replied at different stages, including L. Sterling, Paul Schultz, F. Harber, and some anonymous people only known as "Client Services Team".
However, the help was seamless and the approach consistently friendly and enthusiastic. Using Webmasters support is a comfortable experience, you are confident that they understand the problem and will have it resolved for you quickly and with no fuss.
Anytime I am asked about webhosting I always recommend webmasters and will always stay with webmasters.

Just a quick note to say thanks to John DeSantis and your other admins.
I am doing the web admin duties for a small missionary group and they (we) have been having a lot of trouble with their current hosting provider (no names needed). They told me that they have recently had days worth of email go missing, constant site instability, and I have been unable to access their ftp site now for over a week.
When they called their hosting provider to discuss these issues, they said they were put on hold for 3 (you read that right THREE) hours before they had a human appear and "help" them with their problem. Not surprisingly, the problem still exists. Emails to their host often do not receive a reply for several days, or they only get automatic responses with unhelpful advice.
In comparison, the Webmasters.com admins are always quick to respond when I send in a trouble report. I usually have whatever problem that I have noted solved in under an hour.
When I told this missionary group about how the Webmasters.com admins handle problems, they asked if I would transfer their account over to you. I'm waiting for the domain transfer to go through right now, but when it does, I will be opening up another hosting account for this group.
So thanks again to John, Curran, J. Marquand, and the others in your support group. As this other hosting provider demonstrated, anyone can host a site; just plunk a server down and load Apache in. What sets Webmasters.com apart is how you deal with clients when they are having problems that makes the difference. |

My website seldom has any outages, and my email accounts the same.
bugs are rare, maybe once a year ... probably less
When I do have a question or problem I get rapid, complete, and courteous response.
I have not carefully evaluated the cost of my service for several years... however I have always found that webmasters is the most economical of all.

| I wanted to send this note to praise one of your employees. Her name is Jeannie H. in Support. I have to tell you that she has saved my life on at least two occassions. Each problem was very complex and took a lot of skill, knowledge and a desire to go that extra mile to help out a customer in need. She was so helpful, even when she had to explain computers 101 to me so that I could comprehend the troubleshooting, and solutions to my computer support issues. She always called back in a timely manner if I could not get to speak to her directly. Each issue nearly caused panic on my end but she always came through for me and managed to put me at ease at the same time. As we all know, computer support problems can be some of the most frustrating problems in the world, especially when one's company livelihood is involved. | I have recently transferred a couple of domains and 3 websites to Webmasters.com. Naturally, there were a number of configuration adjustments that needed to be made during the switch; most I could do myself through the comprehensive control panel, some required adjustment by support staff and one looked to be impossible. However, the support staff were extremely helpful throughout and John DeSantis in particular was nothing short of tenacious in his work to solve the problem. Through his and their hard work the impossible was made possible and my 3 sites and 2 email domains are up and running better than ever.
